ao's first gunks belayIt was my first gunks lead ever! I switched off leads with Wonderwoman, and we took this pic at the top of the first pitch. Although we climbed Easy O, we never did see the overhang...

Granite_Grrl on C.C.K.C.C.K. is probably one of the best routes to take photos of the leader without having a third person. It's also a pretty fun route. We ended up doing it twice this day because I screwed up the photo taking the first time. I think the sun was in a much better position this time anyway. Since this was her second time leading this route, the same morning, she was more comfortable with me messing with the camera. I think with a third person we could have took more and better photo's.

Late fall view from High Exposure BelayLast fall we took a cold, but beautifully clear November day off work and finally found High Exposure free of the weekend crowds. As Noobs we had been working up to this all year - it was also our 10th Wedding aniversary (ahh....) so a very special day for us when we both led the final pitch. Picture taken from the final belay ledge.

Climbing the first pitch of High ExposureTwo of my climbing parterns on High E. Paul was on the lower ledge belaying Christy while she climbed past some water runoff on the 1st pitch.
(I put it in the Trad category because I wasn't sure where else to put it. The belayer trad climbed and then top-roped us up the rest of the pitch. I'm a newbie, so I apologize for any mistakes.)
The day was perfect - 38-40 degrees at the start, sun, very low humidity, and very low wind.

Look up to see what I have....This was a fun 5.7. Though I was able to move through the Crux, I was too pumped out after several attempts as well as climbing throughout the day.
This climb was on a exposed area that is close to the entrance if I am not wrong. Feel free to post if you know or recongize the area I'm talking about.
I also got bored, I decided to crop as well as add B/W. I really don't have an idea of how to photoshop pics all that well...

Hanging out on shockley'sHanging out on Shockleys after a -very- slow climb. The busy weekend made for a long wait especially because the party ahead of us decided to cut the last pitch into two pitches.
