Gunsight to South Peak... all I can say is 'wow'. Definitely the most exhilirating 5.3 of my life. Easy, fun moves make up the bulk of the climb, but the exposure here makes things very interesting to say the least. Seneca is definitely a place where the climbing resembles the alpine style much more than the typical crag (at least where I'm from). It's not very frequently that you can be on one side of the cliff and look directly down the other side from the top. Very cool.

this is a shot of bananas from below it. this was a fun climb. my first outdoor climbing experience. there is a loose rock at the top of the route near the crux.

Me on the summit at Seneca. Took Old Ladies with the Janes route variation. Nathan did the leading and took the picture. Thought that it would be our warm-up route, but of course a storm rolled in as we were rapping down and ended our day.

First pitch of Thais. What an outstanding climb. The last couple pitches are harder than rated (in my humble opinion).

My daughter Alex signing the summit log her first time at the top of Seneca. This was her second trip there, but her first time on the summit. She got up with us at 4:30 the next day to be on the top for sunrise.

This is a picture, taken by me on lead as soon as i was leaving the Gunsight notch, to South peak. Gunsight was an easy climb but totally enjoyable!

I snapped this picture after a long day on the rocks. I think it captures the overall mood of our stay there. Can't wait to go back.

This picture was taken from the top of Senaca, off of the main path. An easy hike, but a wonderful place to overcome your fear of heights.
