This is me making my way up End of an Era. Great rock, although it is a little chilly in the afternoon since you are consistantly in the shadow.

This is my first clean up in which I also cleaned the anchor. Needless to say I was pretty proud. I was also unaware that this is a 5.9, the guide says a 5.8 to a 5.8+, so I was also proud of this accomplishment. All in all, a great day of climbing beating the hell out of sitting in class!

I was climbing Diesel and Dust and saw a climber next to me, looked like a great picture. She was climbing a route (end of an era - I think) listed 5.8+ in the book I had but really more like 5.9, I think some holds must have broken off after the FA. What a beautiful day at the garden

Chuck and I had a great day climbing at the garden. we started on this fun warm up with great rock. did the first and second pitches then rapped. highly recommended.

This is me top ropping this 11a climb with mark and tim at the garden of the gods, CO.

I top roped on this day and lead the 1st pitch (10a) on the next. The 2nd pitch of this climb is a 11d at garden of the gods.

New Era is just as much face climbing as it is crack. I found the climbing easy but fun. Sometimes you just gotta get on a route and cruise not having to worry about hard moves or bad falls. The top of the 2nd pitch is where it gets interesting. I (Steve-O) jammed up the crack, while my partner (Brit) layed it back. Would've liked to do the 3rd pitch to get to the summit but we weren't too sure how easy the walk-off was and didn't want to come all the way back up to grab our gear at the base. A fun 2-rope rap gets you back to the ground.

A good climb with some old pins for protection, BMUS is all fun climbing. One hard crimp leads to an off-balance gaston, the crux sequence, then cruise the flake and the bullet rails at the top. 5.10d, with some old pins for pro.

Just cleaning Big Sky at the Garden of the Gods. Nice crux for the final move at the end. My guide book said 5.8 but a more accurate 5.7 on rc.com.

The Dakota sandstone has a limestone feel. Kindergarten rock has a nice selection of sport climbs.

New Era is an excellent 2-3 pitch 5.7. The crux comes just below the second belay ledge. Good holds, Good rock, nice placements and a nice view equal 3 stars.
