This was a very hard 5.9 crack. It may look easy if you stand beneath it, but in reality it is a devious Lumpy flair which I'm pretty sure was designed to kill your feet.

This is the Book, and the point to the left is the Bookmark. This is at Lumpy Ridge in Estes Park. This was taken while we were headed to Left Book which is to the left and behind the Book.

George's tree, a killer 5.9 flared "finger" crack (more crimping on face holds than jams, really), on a beautiful day. Osiris was busy so we headed one crack system over. It looked easy, but it ended up being a pretty stout 5.9.
