Stoney PIt was a mild weathered day deep in the hellacious heart of Stoney point, a land littered with scoundrels and boulders. I came across a fella from Switzerland, who was on a trip around the world. One climb at a time.

The BootMy first time at Stoney Point, in the dark, with a couple buddies and the hobos. They hate me cause I can do the boot static. LOL...If you get a chance go there and try it; its a very awesome problem. Photo By Mark Bradley.

Good timesOne last bouldering session before leaving for Yosemite this weekend to get married. And yes....my lady climbs as well. Why else would I even consider getting married? Pull down boys!

Just above "the corner" at Stoney PointMy wife took this one of me after moving through the crux of "the corner," B1 Boulder, @ Stoney Point. The obvious chalked hold is a match, and sets you up for the crux; a reach up and left (barely visible below and to the left of me in this pic), then high step right. This was my first time up the climb, and it was a beautiful day!

Adam ready to test the spottersThose that know Adam know the art of conversation is not dead. However, I have found the secret to silence.
It's 20 feet up, on fryable edges of soft sandstone, where a deadpoint slap to a sloper was the difference between sufferage and salvation....
Of course having a few spotters didn't hurt the confidence level :) Nice send brotha'!

Gu in the MorningA crisp morning and it was time to work this problem yet one more time. Every move is a fight with a finishing move that continues to spit off most. This time was no different, as the belt-sanding stone ripped another tip to shreds....

One variation...This is me, sbclimber, on "Pink Floyd", V4. This is the third variation I have managed to get on this problem thus far, by far the hardest (of the 3 I have done). One of my favorite boulder problems anywhere, great mantle top-out. Photo by Paul Rutledge.
