The First Moves on the Lost Arrow SpireWatch that first step! Step out onto a fragile flake 1400 feet up and start heading up. Super fun, aesthetic climb. I'm climbing, my friend G took the photo.

Fargoan and the valley below on Salathe Ledge"Oh man, this picture is totally going to freak my family out!" Fargoan stands on Salathe Ledge with a 2500 foot perceived drop below. My thoughts?? Sunnyside Bench was supposed to have pools. Pools??? Pools? I don't see no stinkin' pools!

Yosemite Point Gear SortKlaus and I topped out on a POS route in July. I still don’t know what we decided to call it… This is Yosemite Point. Klaus tied-off the railing at the end of the last pitch and I jugged up on it – what a proud ‘natural’ belay anchor! Here is some of the junk that we had to carry down… Ug. Nice place to sort gear with a nice view. Sentinel Dome is on the left in the background.

Yosemite Falls from the meadowThis frame was shot in may of 2002.
My first visit to the valley since i was 8 yrs old. I was not a climber at the time, but i was impressed by all the granite, and all the possibilities. Yosemite is such a beautiful and special place. Shot on TCN-400 with a red-filter around noon. (hence the LARGE contrast)

Above The GeekKlaus and the infamous "Geek Tower." Back in the day, Bridwell chiseled the letters G E E K into the 'dunce cap' seen here with the mess of ancient slings wrapped around it. This is pitch 6 of "Hurricane Jingus CF2000" on the FA, June '97.
