This was the weekend that mule days were held at Bishop. It was my chance 2 go and climb real rock at Owens River Gorge. I was great and i'm going back soon. I climbed Enter the Dragon 5.8

I was told this route is 11b/c. I just know it was hard. This was taken in May of 2004. The weather was great. I love the east side, there is always something to do up there. The photo was taken by Mike Ayon.

John Muir said to climb the mountains and get their good tidings. I don't believe the gent had any concept of what the future had in store. Here's an average weekday on a section of moderate routes in the gorge.

Perched on slippery edges, I'm convinced that the slightest arm movement will begin the Peel. But I kinda want that next clip. What a dilemma.

On the left in this picture is Expressway a wonderful Owens Classic, it kicked my butt, it is early on my list the next time... while I am still fresh.
