Starting on the huge hueco to the right, this extension makes a really cool start to the arete problem.

i was having a bit of a blah day and wasn't really feeling inspired. the guys were working on this problem, and i dropped by to try it out. here i am trying to stick the crossover to the jug. not sure if i'm even capable of the throw at the end, but i'll be going back to try for sure.

This isn't actually New Chatauqua... it's an apparently long-forgotten route around the corner. Relics on this thing.

Using the crimps looses a grade, but that just gives him a good reason to go back and stick the lunge. Nice hard climbing by Matt here.

A fun easy traverse along the ledge to the left of Mushroom Roof, probably V1 or less.

This traverse is awesome! You start on the left and as you traverse across, the holds get smaller and smaller. The hard part is the finish move on mushroom roof. (the last couple of moves are tough too though).

this route is Local Flakes, here i'm on the last crimp before the top out. it is a sweet route
