This is the view of Monkey Face from the trail. It's easy to see here why they call it "Monkey Face."

A couple of climbers rapping off Monkey Face Spire. Bohn Street is just to the left of the upper notch, (right side of the spire). The bolt ladder for the Pioneer route goes pretty much straight up from there, into the mouth cave. P1 of Monkey Space goes left, then up into the base-of-the-skull cave

Slacklining has NOTHING to do with climbing.

As the sun sets, metoliussshawn attempts his new project highline on the Monkey Face. The line is over 130' long and it's 500' above the Crooked River you see below.

Larry, Super Slack-Nerd, sails through the air, narrowly escaping the mouth of a giant stone monkey. Is there anything that he can't do???

TR Photo 7 of 9 Photo by Sam Taylor comes out of the mouth to climb the Panic Point pitch. While its rated 5.7, its the hardest (and scariest) 5.7 I've ever seen -- you step out of the mouth above and to the (climber's) left of Just Do It. The exposure is ... something else.

That's me trying to walk the Monkey Line. I didn't make it too far; but I'd only been slacklining for about a week. Photo was taken by CHill.

As Karen and I were leaving from the base of the monkey that afternoon we turned around and shot a series of great photos before we left. I think this one was the best.
