Valle Azteca area map. I have been going to the area for years to surf and had no clue it was even there. Pictures to follow.

Route is easy with a +/-5.10d crux near the top. 4 bolts to lowering chains.

Very difficult route for me @ Valle Azteca in Northern Baja. Wasn't in my guide book, but probably goes at ~5.12a. Anyone know the name of this one?

Dave decided to mantle and top it from here... excessive.

For some reason, I tried this route using a bunch of times using the crimp out left... It didn't work out very well.

Start to an unnamed V4 at Black Mountain. Alternatively, you can use a small crimp to the left to start.

Dave, ready to dyno for the sharp slopey lip up top. The left hand pinch is pretty sharp, its hard to let go with your right hand.

The crux move for shorter climbers. She actually has a toe hook on a low rail around the arete so she can hit this move.

Unnamed problem on the same boulder as Big Greenie. Smearing feet and no hands.

This was my second go at it. Once you hit the high gaston, your pretty committed. Not too bad if your tall, bummer if your short.

Best roof crack ever. Everyone can work this problem despite it's rating. Top out gets wide and hard, but it's more than enough fun cruising out the roof on great jams ranging from bomber hands to loose fists. Check it out, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Kaia working the best roof crack ever to exist. For some reason, no one is ever out here while every other time I walk by Pigpen you have to wait in line. Picture would have been awesome without the spotter, but she fell earlier from the same spot and got stuck with her arm still locked into the crack.
