Despite January being in the rainy season, there are breaks in the weather that allow for some spectacular winter days of climbing.

Due to the heavy undergrowth, it is sometimes better to just rapell.

get to the top of a flake and use bolt ladder. Left part of crack to overhung part is supposed to be pretty hard, ie 5.10-11 ish. make your way up and use the second bolt ladder.

This is the Flake 5.8 ish in J tree. It was fun, but scary beginning and end. Well worth the climb. Scary friction climb at the end, but has bolts. I dont remember pro, but I remember wishing I had a large cam for the top of the chimney.

No this photo is not posed and it's not upside-down! Justin E. in the process of making sure The Warden in Vedauwoo, Wyoming meets up to it's .13 off-width rating by adding a new start to the problem in the back of the 15 foot tunnel, rotating upside-down IN the tunnel and then setting up for the crux. Not only do you have to have crazy power for this problem but it also requires some elegant off-width skills. Eventually he was right-side up again.

This poster was in a kidney dialysis center in Dallas, TX.

Friend decided to put me up this route becuase he wanted to see me work a hard route. Crux was just below the roof, but if you stand or stretch depending how tall you are, it was awesome. totally juggy past the roof part.

My buddy Clev took this on our first day in the Wichitas. I'm still learning, so we toproped it. My first experience with hand & finger jamming - pleasant on granite.

One of the lesser boulders near Steak Dinner,.....I didn't even know there was more than one. Went exploring and found some other really cool boulders and climbing in the area.
