Obviously this is a must do climb if you go to Penitente. The start is the crux, the rest of the climb is really only 5.9+

We just got back from a four day trip to Pentitente. Whipping Post is one of the first climbs that we ended up doing. Both my wife and I ended up onsighting the climb which really set the pace for the rest of our trip.

I think this pic was taken at an area called the matrix? I'll check my info and update later.

This is a fun problem at Governor's Stable, I'm unsure as to the rating or the name any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Jared on Lost Planet Airmen 5.11a. One of my favorite area's at Shelf, the 2150 wall is a must visit area! I've seen different rankings of this climb in different route books. (5.11a - 5.11c) Those of you that have climbed this route, let me know what you think.
