View from Alabama HllsThis is a view of Whitney from a secret spot in Alabama Hills. I took the photo with a Sony 5.5 megapixel camera with no filters. I did a llittle "unsharp mask" filter with Photoshop. Other than that this is pretty much how I saw it.

Lower Atnelope Canyon10/04, I was hiking in upper and lower Antelope Canyon on the Navajo Reservation. I was awestruck at the forms of the corkscrew canyon. Water forged though the canyons, randomly molding the steep sandstone walls as an artist does with clay. This particular section reminded me of an Eagle in flight.
Technical info; I took this photo with a Sony 5.2 Mega pixel P10 camera with a flash. Back at the homestead, a little Photoshop magic using the unsharp mask filter and adjusting the levels, voila...I'm very open to tips and trick from the forum.

New BeThe infamous, rarely seen, Raleigh Collins demonstrating a new be"lay" (emphasis on "lay") technique at Capricorn Wall in Alabama Hills, Lone Pine. Echoes of neighing mules in the background (you know what I mean Raleigh). Musical sounds of Stevie Ray Vaughn jams through the headphones. Raleigh doesn't miss a beat as his climbing partner calls out commands. "Trust" at it's peak. Just another day in the life of RC....Kids, don't try this at home, this technique if for
the big boys.
Raleigh, thanks for making a great weekend even better....You are totally awesome. Maybe I was just awestruck by your bulging.....hummm....muscles.
