Himalaya panorama

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Himalaya panorama

Himalaya panorama from Mera peak. Mt Everest and Lhotse in the middle. Normal way to Mera peak is more about walking than about climbing, but be aware of crevasses. Good for beginners. The approach takes about 6 days from Lukla, then about 2 days to the top.

To Sphinx

Average Rating = 0.00/5 To Sphinx

Going up to Sphinx with my friend Martin during one nice October day in 2001. There are many more interesting routes in Skalak, but you do not have your camera with you at all times.

Way to Sphinx

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Way to Sphinx

The route to Sphinx is not very difficult. No special crux, but you can sometime lose close contact with your partner. Tourists on the surrounding routes can hear your instructions better then him.

Lunch in East Col

Average Rating = 2.40/5 Lunch in East Col

Getting to the East Col, a 20.000ft pass west of makalu is not an easy task. Lunch and rest is good despite the altitude. The range at the upper right corner is Baruntse.

Kalymnos climbing

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Kalymnos climbing

Kalymnos sport climbing. The weather is still acceptable in the end of May. Climbing is very relaxing on Kalymnos, mostly single pitch sport routes. This Helvetia sector is sometimes crowdy, but there are many climbersfree areas. I am that one it the blue T-shirt.
