Approaching mid-august and the sand is perfect right now for all climbs on the main boulder. Oh yeah since the large rock shifted and you cannmot start on good hold way high easiest start is now V6 my favorite start is a V7 stand start to "grand finale". Photo by Chris Summit

Making good use of the "beer clip".

Low End Theory V10. We went back 2 days later and Charlie sent this problem. It is one of the best at an area full of 5 star boulder problems.

This whole boulder really Rocks, but this prob is sick.

Awesome movement, great texture who could ask for more.

The name says it all you can go bouldering and mushroom picking at the same spot. This boulder is surrounded by yellowfoot and black chanterelles.

This is some really cool rock the sandstone is so sticky.

This place is so rad you can fly from one route to the next.

Coming in from the low start, this is a great prob. with an excellent setting.

Interesting and funky. This was a weird little prob. a little butt draggy.

Really fun area lot's of fun easy boulder probs. Fun prob. "call me" V6 don't have pic but cool none the less.

This was a cool roof boulder but not much there.

This was such a fun route, so much to do so little time.

This is a really awesome area great swimming holes everywhere. This one is called "skyhook" V5.

V6 traverse often has a pond below it when the tide or the waves are big.

Another radical sandstone bouldering mecca. More to do here than you can shake a stick at. This one is "Sabertooth"

This boulder problem was my first V8 and V8 F.A. I love this boulder. Just starting the "living a dream" crux wich is the finish of the route. That boulder rocks.

These two shots might even be of the first ascent I forget. But for anyone who's been there you notice that "fort rosstafarian" does not exist yet that whole ledge used to just be a giant sloper until a chunk broke out where the jug is now.

This route is super cool probably .12d or .13a but only goes halfway out the cave. The whole thing will be sick.

We had a great time on this route. Two teams of two each with a rookie made for some very entertaining moments. Oh and the view of El Cap and the Salathe behind you made one not want to leave.

I don't know the name of this one but it was pretty fun. These starting moves were cool but then you pull this bulge into a funky crack maybe it was like v6 or something.

This was a really thought provoking boulder problem, such a crazy move.

Another awesome route at the arete's. This is the shortest route at the crag only 4 bolts. Everyone I know who has done it has started with the first couple bolts clipped. It is like v6 or 7 to 12a I'm guessing like 5.13a. Two friends and I all did it in about 45 minutes it was a good day.

Fun new prob. there used to be a log jam here that washed away last winter. There were several new probs. done here last summer.

Secret area near my house about 20 min. from Goat Rock. The place is awesome there was a little spurt of new developpment last year that brings the total # of probs located 2 min. or less from my house to around 60.

This is a secret area 1min. from my house that contains 40+ boulder problems with potential for more. Oh yeah this is also about 20 min. from sunset boulders.

Here I am working one the best routes in Cali. Long sustained, super pumpy with a nice run and tricky sequence to the last bolt. Beautiful
