Checking my foot placement before I attempt the tiny roof and wondering why I didn't bring a helmet.

Jeremiah took this picture of me climbing at Tick Rock. Surprisingly, this crag is beside a highway that has a big sign cautioning drivers to watch out for rockslides....

This is a picture I took of a two acre fire right outside my apartment. The fire spread along the PCH incline and ran along parts of Ocean Avenue. I called 911 immediately and then ran downstairs to try and help water down some of the palm trees. When the firemen showed up, I went back upstairs to my balcony to take this picture. 11/27/05
