How slim exactly are the pickins on this slab? Pretty darn slim indeed. Photo for Turkey Day 2004.

How do you say... strong?

Average Rating = 3.43/5 How do you say... strong?

Jen (or was it Gene, I suck at names...) rippin' her way up the Daily D!ck Dose. Not sure who actually took the picture since the camera was being passed around like a village bicycle that day =)

Eyeing the undercling...

Average Rating = 3.80/5 Eyeing the undercling...

Pic of me on Zuluflex taken by lilred (?) over Thanksgiving break. Actually enjoyed this one a lot more than DDD and it provided with what came to be known as the wasing machine move when you try to match the undercling. Loads of laughs!!!!!

Topping out the Incinerator

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Topping out the Incinerator

Finally getting to the top of the Incinerator after taking a head first dive from this same spot (long story and sorry, but no pictures of that, Erin (the photog) was too shocked to do anything.....)

Full Contact in 3...2...1...

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Full Contact in 3...2...1...

Awesome problem that I can only do from the second move on, since the first campus move kills me every time. Here I'm about to lunge and latch the last hold of the crux. Great moves but an unusualy bad landing for Pine Mtn.

Clean overhang

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Clean overhang

This is me about to start climbing this 10-15 degree overhanging wall. I'm posting this picture to help identify the problem as I have no clue what it is. Has anybody seen it or done it before?

Surprise!

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Surprise!

This is me trying the first (or second, depending on where you start) move of Surprise. Very simplistic problem with not-so-static but fun moves to small slopey holds. Will have to work it some more next time...

Pink afternoon

Average Rating = 3.89/5 Pink afternoon

This is me failing once again to red-point this incredible route. Every time I go back, I lead it with one less fall, but I don't go too often, making the send long awaiting.

Free standing campus board

Average Rating = 2.50/5 Free standing campus board

I finally finished building this freakin' huge board and now I can at last climb on it. It's about 13 feet tall and so far has withstood the rain and sprinklers without too much problems.

After the slopers, the crimpers....

Average Rating = 2.60/5 After the slopers, the crimpers....

Me getting to the final moves on a pretty nice V4 traverse that starts off on slopers and finishes on smaller holds with a nice boulder at your back to catch you if you fall. (the problem with small holds at pine is that they tend to break :(

Claustrophobic stemming

Average Rating = 2.20/5 Claustrophobic stemming

This is a really short, easy looking stemming problem that is actually quite twisted and sequency, taking a lot of patience to unlock (or just more power).

Trying not to get sketched out

Average Rating = 3.60/5 Trying not to get sketched out

As I near the top of this very grainy and of course sand-bagged V0+, I try to maintain my cool and keep going. Right after the picture, however, all I had to say was "F*ck this sh*t" and I jumped down (I hate grainy rock).

Getting started on the easier stemming part

Average Rating = 1.67/5 Getting started on the easier stemming part

That's me getting on the bottom stemming section before attacking the higher, slopier, more committing top.

T-dog sticking the flake on Jump Chump

Average Rating = 3.38/5 T-dog sticking the flake on Jump Chump

Really fun run and jump problem out behind turtle rock and the closer boulders. The hard part is either committing all the way or not, because you don't want to rip off of that flake (its pretty sharp).

Working the Flight Attendant

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Working the Flight Attendant

Ryan working on the beginning moves of the problem. We(him and I) both got the problem that trip. Although there aren't that many moves to it, they are all quite long, making the aim are critical part of the problem.

Pigpen

Average Rating = 3.38/5 Pigpen

This is me trying to get through the final moves of Pigpen. The climb starts way in the back of the cave, comes out the crack and into this leaning finger crack. My girlfriend took the picture.

New ways to get from A to B

Average Rating = 3.00/5 New ways to get from A to B

Ryan trying the direct version of the climb, which bypasses all the holds on the right and instead goes straight over the bulge pulling on imaginary slopers. I took the picture.
