Getting set to send.

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Getting set to send.

Getting ready to send a 200 foot 5.7 rock face. Then set up 4 TR climbs from the other stances and let a group of about 10 friends climb and relax the day away. Amazing. I love dyneema.

My Entire Rack

Average Rating = 5.00/5 My Entire Rack

This is my entire rack for now. In a bit I'll get another full set of camalots and mastercams. I'll probably get 2 sets of tricams too. Why? I loan gear a lot and sometimes climb with groups when I'm not roped soloing.

West Carbody

Average Rating = 0.00/5 West Carbody

This is the west carbody canyon in Boise Idaho. I sometimes zip into and through this area on my way to other parts. Carbody has an intense trail that I will get out and sprint up and down 10 times, crawl back to my car and keep drooling I mean driving. Sweet lines in that canyon. I mention a 5.11d crack that I've worked a few times and it's in there. If you pass through often like I do... Boise is my junction for lots of travel then hit the cliffs. Tallest pitches are maybe 80 feet, average pitches in the 5.8-5.10 range are 60 feet and the really dicey 5.12+ is in the 30 to 60 feet range. All good stuff. If you like basalt. I recommend a thick grainy chalk.

Frogs

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Frogs

I've been climbing this area all summer long and these buggers showed up in the last 3 weeks or so. I don't miss a thing when I walk and spotted four of these on the approach. At the base of the cliff I bet there were 30 or 40 of these all along. Very cool. Their coloring was so perfect for their environment. Hard to spot for sure.
