Manter Hall - Half way upPaul half way up. This is where I wished I had worn knee pads. It was 5.7, but it sure was painful since I could only move 3 inches at a time.

Addiroids On Pine LineThis me (addiroids) leading Pine Line the afternoon we got down from West Face of Leaning Tower. We went to the Mtn Room bar after droping off a Japanese guy at Camp 4 who soloed Wet Denim and did some Jager shots, then went Curry Village to shower and drink some beer. Since I was the sober-er of the two, I lead. Wallhammer (slightly inebriated) is doing his best to hold a camara, belay, and second. This was the first time Wallhammer climbed on the Captain.

Addiroids At the TopThis me coiling the rope after climbing on Olive Oil. The weather played many tricks on us that day. First it was clear, then it rained, then stopped, then rained, stopped, rained, snowed, rained, snowed, stopped. Then about 30 minutes later it started raining again...and didn't stop...and rained harder...until at the last pitch (a dihedral) it was pouring down the crack like a freakin' waterfall. Fun times jamming a waterfall at 45 degrees outside. Hey, what do you expect, we are trad climbers?!?! Something about the day is going to suck!!! Photo by wallhammer.

Paul, Dr. Piton and Wee-Wee the Big Wall CrabThis is a picture of me and my wall doctor, Pete Zabrok. As you can see, Pete has a very good "Wall Tan" from doing West Face of Leaning Tower with Yvette. I, on the other hand, have a good "real tan" from working construction in Palm Desert. The only difference is that mine won't wash off like his will. Also, if you notice that there is some imbibement in Pete's hand (given to him by a buddy) you would be a very keen observer. However, you might also know that I have a penchant for Bailey's and Coffee (listed here by volume) and that exact mixture is contained in my coffee mug that I found about 5 years ago (yeah, like I pay for stuff like that). Everything is better with alcohol.
