Divine Comedy Perhaps?

Average Rating = 4.37/5 Divine Comedy Perhaps?

This picture is so perfect, it's almost hard to see it as a coincidence. I was doing a full-body span across the band room doorway at my school with my friend taking a picture of it. He took one, but something went wierd, so I suggested he take another. He got ready, and pressed the button. The shutter, however, waited for a moment to click, and in that exact moment, the door opened, and you can see the guy behind it.

Now for a bit of history. That guy coming through the door right underneath me happens to be the husband of my sister's former spanish teacher, with whom my family nearly got in a law suit just two years ago. He also happens to be the assistant principal, and head disciplinarian at our school. A real jerk, and the absolute worst possible person to catch me monkeying around, pun intended.

So he walks right out that door, not three feet under me, notices the camera flash, and says "Oh, I bet you didn't want me in that picture," AND WALKS OFF!!!

HE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THAT I WAS SUSPENDED IN THE AIR ABOVE HIS HEAD!!!

This has to be the absolute greatest picture that has been, or ever will be taken at my school! Credit for the photo goes to Max Stoner.

ColdClimb's second ascent

Average Rating = 3.25/5 ColdClimb's second ascent

What you see here is me (ColdClimb) on the second ascent of a short V2 buildering move inside my school. So far I'm the only one who has sent this route. I have dubbed it "No Two-Timing" Based on the teacher's comment after doing the first ascent during school hours. She told me it showed a great deal of skill, but she never wanted to see me doing it again. She got her wish. The second ascent was made during setup for the school's Christmass bazaar, so she wasn't there. Photo taken by Max Stoner, and yes, that is his real name.

Slab practice

Average Rating = 3.33/5 Slab practice

This is Ben Bates (bigboulderboarderbinerben) on a short slab boulder route somewhere between Archangel road and the Lower Garden of the Gods at Fairangel Creek, Alaska. This particular route is probably a v0. Just a simple short slab climb. One of the things that makes this pic great, though, is that it has my (ColdClimb's) shoes in it, proving that I was the photographer. :D

Lower Garden of the Gods in black and white.

Average Rating = 3.30/5 Lower Garden of the Gods in black and white.

The contrast of this photo makes the features on the face literally seem to leap out of the rock. I had to compress it a bit to fit it in the guidelines, but it still is quite a startling picture. The lines of white quartz stand out sharply against the granite.

This is Elisha Davis (bellealimento) on route 3 at Lower Garden of the Gods, Fair Angel Creek, Alaska. Ben Bates is belaying, and this is an excellent shot of my (ColdClimb's) unique and untamable hair. Photo by Tom Borland.

Coldclimb's Updated Profile Shot

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Coldclimb's Updated Profile Shot

I've been running into people lately from rc.com, so I figured I'd stick up a more recent and identifiable shot of myself. See you all at the crags!
