Cozy bivy at Chasm ViewLeighton at our cozy bivy at Chasm View, before going down to Broadway and doing the Casual Route. This turned out to very sheltered from the wind, but the rain came off of the rocks and dripped on us all night.

Not what you want your rope to look like!A friend's rope after a fall by the second on a Shortoff route. I had just climbed the route and saw the fall, and am not sure where the rock could have caused this damage (no obvious sharp edges...). It may have been the rope running into a constriction in the crack.

Inti Watana to Resolution AreteLeading one of the pitches (right off the belay) of Inti Watana. We finished this route with the top of Resolution Arete, and descended into First Creek Canyon. This made for a pretty long day, with ~2 hours of (up to) 4th class approach and somewhere around 10 hours of climbing. The actual climbing was ~2500 feet, about 13 belayed pitches, a couple of pitches basically moving the belay to a new ledge system, and then another ~100 meters of easy simu-climbing. The descent was not obvious or well marked, and we did most of it in the dark, with lots of back-tracking from cliff edges, boulder hopping, and bush-whacking.
