Bill getting on 5.11 finger crack, again, somebody needs to get this on lead.. any beta?

Same 5.11 TR problem as the others.. After the little barn-door its all small fingers. Much fun!

Another chilly climb of one of Red Rocks super classics. So strange to think of being cold in Vegas but thats what you get around Thanksgiving..

What a rad little river. I thought places like this only existed in Colorado I love this area except the town is just an insane tourist trap..

In between rain/sleet I snapped this view looking up the valley of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. This was taken from the top of Pitch 6 or seven on Outer Space,

Here the bottom up view of Infinite Bliss. On this day I think a life jacket and a snorkel would have been better gear than ropes and quick-draws. The whole route turned into a waterfall somewhere around pitch 7. Really on the rap down we were sitting in knee deep pools of water.. Fun though

Although my brother and I had to climb this route in full Winter gear, it was still a great line. Sitting here posting this pic at work makes me want to be back there so bad... umh

A bit of a fuzzy shot but by far the best part of the route. Don't get suckered into stepping onto the ledge on the right or you will have an awful time getting back on the route.. Good stuff..

Sus on lead on pitch 5 or 6 of "Infinite Bliss." Nice lead in some rather sketchy conditions! 100+ foot run-outs on wet slab is just a little bit wild.. Check out the running waterfall to the left, very soon after this picture the whole route looked like that. The upper 15 pitches above this look great but will have to wait for another day..

So yeah while we were coming up we noticed dozens of of climbers coming down carrying ropes, pickets on other large amounts of gear. I can't figure it out, during the summer you really can climb Hood in pair of shoes and shorts. All that other shit just looks so silly.. Why do people lug all the stuff around? For practice? to make it safe? Crazy..

Suz again on the glacier.. We hiked for another few hundred vert from here and than had a great ski run down..

Suz on top of outer space. YOu know I bet she is getting real tired of me screwing up her name.. Sorry.. Yeah so we toped out Outer Space and there was this perfect rainbow in the valley.. Sort of hard to see. Man that was such a great climb, and a little rainbow to finish it up...

I really hate writing captions.. But according to the website rules I need to write 40 words before they'll post.. Hey I know, all of you bolt clippers should get on this route so you can feel like your getting that big muti trad route feel without having to actually do anything fun, like uh place your own pro..

We finally got a bit of sun on this chilly May day. Brendan Hodge rapping some route that I forgot the name of..

Lazy kids that we are, we didn't start climbing till about 11:00 AM so we didn't have time to summit. On the plus side we had an amazing ski run down. I love summer skiing.

Hodge on top the last pitch of Wherever I may Roam. A fun 5 pitch 5.9 route with really good views.. What a great weekend! Thanks for coming up Brendan.

Not really sure which route this is. One of the many easy, long routes out at French's.. Watch out for lose holds out there as some of the routes are a bit dirty..

Sort of lame photo of a good route. I love the bulge below the anchor, looks hard but really easy when you find the jug. I think it takes gear up to 2 inches with lots o' nuts... Thanks to Bill for the pic..

This route is way wild.. it looks like it would be a hell of a lot easier if one were to climb the arete from the right side but what's the fun in that.. Flailing around the the corner looks much better..
