Save the big SLCDs for the top half of the route; here I am starting up the Main Crack on Edd&Terry Wall in Rock Canyon, UT. We usually make a hanging belay at the small roof half way up; its not necessary but its fun practice.

Here's the optional hanging belay spot on Edd and Terry's Main Crack. It is not necessary but it is fun practice and lets you save most your rack for the last 60 feet of fist crack.

Here I am leading probably the easiest lead in the canyon. The way this picture is taken makes it look a lot steeper than it actually is. In reality, it has a nice easy angle; perfect for beginners. It is fun to lead Red-Slab and then hit Edd and Terry Wall, even though you can scramble to the higher routes.

Here is probably the single best photo opp on this route. Trillogy Butress has a killer view and adventurous climbing. This is me at the top of Pitch 1.

Will takes the sharp end on pitch 2 of Trillogy Buttress in Rock Canyon, UT. This is Will's first lead on a multi-pitch route. He has no fear. 5 bolts takes you to anchors.

Me and some cousins spent 3 days backpacking in the Uintas this summer. We hiked, swam in cold lakes, fished, and found a little time to trad climb an obscure wall near Cutthroat Lake and then TR it for the kids.

Looks like another rap in the dark; should have packed the lamp. This is me at the top of pitch 2 on Room With a View, Cannabis Wall, American Fork Canyon, UT.

Here is another pic of me at Wallstreet in Moab, UT. We arrived early and it was actually pretty cold for mid-spring, but it warmed up in the afternoon and we couldn't have asked for better climbing weather. Quick babe! Take a picture of my beautiful can!

Here is Nick Covington following pitch 1 of Room with a View on Cannibis Wall in American Fork Canyon, UT. We had to rap in the dark but it was still great fun. It was kind of cool climbing out and above the river.

Hell Cave, American Fork Canyon, UT.

This is me leading pitch 2 of Cool world. Earlier this year, after being prompted by Darrin and Aaron at Mountain Works, me and 2 buddies climbed cool world in Rock Canyon. The view is pretty cool at sunset. We rapped in the dark but the next time we did this climb we learned that we could walk-off down the east talus slope.

Deep inside I wish I could quit my job and move to Moab for the rest of my life. This spring we took a trip down to the red rock of Moab, Utah. We spent the week camping, hiking, biking, and climbing Potash(Wallstreet) in the glowing and addictive environment of Southern Utah. This is me chillin in the sun, tired after only 80ft up. I'm not sure what rout this is.

Just enjoying the summer scenery in Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT. Not even the mountain itself could break this brain bucket. It is my pride and joy.

Everyone experiences the same jaw-dropping episode when the first enter Yosemite Valley and gaze on El Cap for the first time. I think this is especially so for climbers. Had great time climbing in the valley for a week last fall. Wish I could live there...hmmmmm...
