So my wife and I had to take a cheesy photo when we saw this sign on our drive to Juneau from San Deigo. Only took us a week to make the trek, too.

Ok, so it snows a lot more than I'd like it to. And you can't climb out doors in the winter. Oh, and even in the summer, it rains a lot. But then again, you get to look at stuff like this all the time... Not bad, eh? And (though this isn't from my living room window) I see stuff like this sitting on my couch looking out the window in the afternoon.

This is my wife (who climbs really well) and I on our honeymoon in Fiji. Like all the rest of the photos we got on our honey moon, it was taken by my wife (who's arm leads out in all the photos to the top or bottom right of the frame...) My dad used to own this house in Fiji so he said we could stay there for our honeymoon. Then he sold the house to some guy who tore it down to build a bigger one. Oh well. We were the last people to stay in the house...

This was my first day in Hermanus. It's a cool little fishing village. The surf was REALLY good that day and we actually got almost to the top of one of the mountains before dark. But, when the sun went down and the Braai was lit, we scurried home for some Chutney covered goodness.

You have no idea how happy I was to see that my son takes to climbing well and is actually rather good, considering that he's not even 2 years old yet!

Working out the moves on real rock... He was honestly a little confused as to how it all works on real rock after only having climbed in a gym... I think he's doing rather well on slab...
