Description:

A series of steep icicles that rarely form entirely are located on the wall to the right of Carlsberg Column. It's a thin route, climbed by thin Frenchmen, named after thin French beer. For years the main pitch had been climbed in various conditions and provided a fine, if not occasionally bold, excursion on mostly natural gear (FA party left only 1 bolt). In March of 2000 a party needlessly added 5 or more bolts through out the second pitch. Climb initial apron of thin ice, to a prominent ledge below the big icicles. Climb in behind the ice into a corner until it is possible to traverse left onto another large ice ledge, or behind the pillar to a large cave. Belay here. The final steep and strenuous pillar above leads to bolt anchors on the right...

Descent Options:

A single 60m rappel get's you back to the approach ledge from the bolt anchor
