5 out of 5 stars just plain fun

almost as much fun as Triumvirate. The roof finish is a blast and protects well. We did this in 1 pitch with skinny doubles. A bit of rope drag but manageable.

4 out of 5 stars Triumvirate Direct

I really liked this variation of Triumvirate. The 5.6 roof move is a lot of fun, and without the Triumvirate traverse, allows the route to be done in 1 pitch. Followed Mike F.

3 out of 5 stars An okay variation

Skips the best part of Triumvirate, the transverse, and the cool pictures you can get of it. The variation is nothing special, and I would recommend doing the normal verision of Triumvirate.

5 out of 5 stars First ascent of 09!

An average 1st pitch leads to P2- some great rock, grander exposure, and an ample amount of love of life. Iceburgs floating in the river, mixed ice on the Pa side, and warm sun on our backs, this was a great way to ring in the new year. p1 is PG, P2 is G with some smaller gear.
