Description:
These are the spectacular icicles that hang in the alcove at Mile 3.3 on the highway. They have never been known to touch the ground, so mixed climbing or creative use of vehicles or ladders must be used to reach the ice. From the top of the vertical ice mass, make some difficult moves right to reach the belay/rappell tree.
