Description:
A great beginner climb that runs the entire length of the dome from the base to the summit. It's actually 5.0, but the rating level doesn't go that low. A great place to take kids on TR. Begin at the base of the dome climbing the long, low-angle slab on the dome's south slab. You can wander all over the slab's face as the difficulty never rises much beyond 5.0.

My first trad solo. I finished by going up the 5.7 crack and had a hard time finding a way up to the very top, so I wandered around to the back. I couldn't find any rap stations, or good trees, so I had to down climb the east side. Getting down was harder than getting up this route. Hard to protect, but until the crack at the top it probably wasn't necessary, I just did it for practice.
