Description:

The Northeast Ridge of Sloan parallels the Ault Creek valley and drops down toward Downton Lake and Gold Bridge. Access the ridge via the Ault Creek FSR. Follow the ridge to the top. May require a rappel. Judicious route finding may keep the whole climb to 4th class, but it may bump up into low 5th. Reverse the route or descend a gully on the south side of the peak, then back down via Ault Creek. AD-

Nice route. Second time on it. First time up it. Descended via the South side of Ault Creek and found it nicer than the N side. Andrew got worked, but had fun. His first time up a mountain. Nice views of Samson, Sessel, Delilah, Thiassi, Frost Fiend, Vayu, White Cap and the Joffre Group from the top.
