Description:

An absolutely stunning 2 pitch route that provides beautiful views of the valley from the top. The crux of the second pitch is a wee bit pumpy for the end of the day. From "A Guide to Rock Climbing in Northern Thailand" (Morris & Uppakham): Use a long draw on the 4th bolt of the 2nd pitch. Climbing on the tree doesn't count as an on-sight. Top rope the second pitch from the right belay anchor in order to avoid rope swing. Be careful of the rope as you lay it over the edge - the rock can be very sharp.

Descent Options:

Rappel from the same anchor as "Don't Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth," just to the left of the belay ledge. Or link it up with a long rope!

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

It might have just been the end of the day, but the crux of the second pitch seemed to be a little stiffer than 10b. Either that or the beaches made me soft -- A beautiful route!
