Odd and old bolts. Don't accept normal carabiners. I'm in the process of replacing.

Description:

Fun climb, two small chimneys. I haven't pulled the moves between 3rd and 4th bolts because of how manky the bolts are, but the excluding these moves the climb is 5.6.

3 out of 5 stars FIRST ASCENT

Home made bolt hangers made by Pat King many years ago and rawl 1/4 inch bolts. Merlin Taylor and I (Mark Joseph) placed these and other 3/8 inch bolts for the first ascent about 25 years ago - I believe around 1983 as memory serves. The area has since been used by Local Search and Rescue, Boy Scouts, Mine Rescue Teams, and NAS Fallon as a practice and training area.
