Description:

The Snave Couloir is the steepest obvious couloir when looking at Mt Evans from Summit Lake. Really fun steep snow climbing, and an interesting ski. Be very careful if you try to glissage this-it is easy to get going out of control.
The route is in season in the mid spring to early summer. Earlier in the season the avalanche danger is unacceptable, and later it is unpleasant scree.
