Ascent Notes for: Flaming Pellets - 5.11b Average Rating : 4.38/5

Not a heck of a lot to this one. Is a nice looking line, but the crux bits are short. 11b might be a little generous, or maybe I'm just crushing.

Had a momentary lapse of concentration and somehow blew the first crux by grabbing the hole in the wrong spot. Not a fun fall. My feet were touching the ground. Stupid. Promptly sent second go. Roof felt hard with the sun in my eyes and zero vision.

What a great route! Don't pass this up.

right before the 2nd bolt, make sure you have an attentive belay. 2ns crux from last bolt to anchors.

one of many quality routes in the area. bolts are spaced to long falls. stout roof pull.

probably one of the best of the grade

Have an alert belayer going to the second bolt because if you botch that move (the hardest on the route) you could hit the ground. Same goes for going to the 3rd clip.
