Perfect Sunday, about to leave route. Not hard, but great views the whole time. Can get windy though.

First multi pitch climb, merritasmaximus and I hired a Yosemite guide to take us up this climb. Great mix of climbing styles, good slab practive towards the top, amazing view of the lake. My first experience "sweeping" trad gear.

I am still a newbie, and was all top-rope until West Country last year was my first multi pitch climb. Went with my friend and a guide from YMS. It was awesome, and got me hooked and looking forward to learning more about longer routes and leading. I would definitely recommend the route, I fell once while going up the layback crack, got my feet too far down from my hands in the crack and they slipped out from under me (so I guess "redpoint" is inaccurate above!) so I would say that was the crux. Wouldn't mind heading back to it in the future! Great views of the lake on a perfect day.

very fun climb, could have done w/out the cold breeze near the end though.

A great route. Run it out, its really easy. I've climbed it twice. Its hard to go wrong with stately pleasure dome, it got its name foer a reason i guess.

More friction than crack.
