good crack climb

Solid climb. super fun. Did it in bouldering shoes.

Just pulling on my Pitons for this climb should've been the hardest part... if I had any crack technique at all. But you learn when you have to, and I learned a lot from this one. The second pitch is a little intense, with two pretty difficult moves stacked one on top of the other. Fun jams, though, if you're into that sort of thing.

Watch out for the big loose chunk that's lodged in the crack going left near the top of the first pitch. It's gonna fall on somebody sometime soon.

Oh, and 5.9 crack in Yosemite is hard.

Definately one of my favorites that i did in the valley... totally classic!

Mike Chung led this up to the top anchors. Fun route.

Led the first half but wasn't ready for the 5.9 section.
