The crux pitch is so great, a calf-burner! Only one slab pitch, with 4 bolts in 120 ft. or so, classic! Belay high at the start and simu-climb a little on the first pitch to reach a good belay stance under the roof. It's way better than the sling belay shown on the topo in the guide book and has solid cracks for gear.

A gorgeous route. Recond the descent route in advance. Start E-A-R-L-Y!!! Better yet, hike up the night before and camp at the base. Use a 60m rope, and find out the way to the descent BEFORE you reach the top. (Or epic into a night descent with blind headlamp downclimbs and rappells, like we did... very educational... builds character... whatever.)
