I have climbed this route many times. You can illigally drive across the old abandoned railroad bridge drive up the narrow 4 wheel road and park right at the base. The bridge takes a little getting used to. My climbing partner (MT) always got out of the car while I drove across checking it for "structural integrity."

Great route; a small wasp nest was encountered about 1/4 way up in the flake. They were very annoyed with me but graciously allow me to climb around them...Bee careful!

Great cam and hex placements on this route...watch the crux though...if you are leading and fall here past your gear you might break your ankle (crux is a committing foot jam)...also be aware of hornets nesting near top mid summer.
