Unique climbing, led both pitches (linked p. 2 & 3) with Mark B. Well protected first pitch, get in a dancing rhythm and run it out on the second pitch. I still don't know how to explain slab stemming but it works. Take a rack of five draws for this "trad" route.

Really interesting feature - cruxy start gives way to the groove.

Crux near bottom, right after first bolt. Great Route. Inside of water groove is very slick, try to keep feet out of middle of groove. Typical stone mtn run-outs, no gear needed.

I can't believe Charlie led this thing. You could add 5 bolts to this climb and it would still be a runout.

If you aren't leading it's great though. It gets easier as you get higher up and the water groove becomes more defined.

Also, stay left of the water groove until after the first bolt. The start is actually harder in the groove.

I screwed up the 4th clip and Adam dropped a TR down to me (since he was urging me not to blow it off and risk a whopper). I put on the rope, made the step, and untied from the TR. Not sure what to call this. Toprope? Lead? Who knows. No falling, but still. Fun route.
