Good route with an exposed (and slippery) arete. Bring the guide book as pitch to pitch routefinding can be a problem.

I actually only climbed the first pitch of le Gourmet. From There, we did Front C, then used the Old Man traverse Ledge to get to the bottom of Critter Crack. I highly suggest this route to the summit as it starts easy to warmup and gradually gets more intense toward the top.

Led p1 to the base of Front C, and finished on Critter Crack. The big ledge traverse means rope drag galore and nasty fall potential. But the route is straightforward and easy to protect.

Second pitch is favourite!(little runout on the exposed traverse ,then the fun arete)

I led first pitch, superted lead front C from there, and Critter crack. We made our way too our first Seneca Summit from there. A definate high point for me.
