4 out of 5 stars Fun

We got our ropes stuck between rap stations two and three. It’s very easy to get your rope stuck there. I strongly recommend bringing a set of ascenders or prussic ropes for if you get your rope stuck between the second and third rap you have to ascend a fixed line on a completely vertical wall. Without a way to ascend the line you would be stuck 350 feet off the ground with absolutely no exit.

5 out of 5 stars awesome climb!

I really enjoyed this climb....led all pitches except for P3. Didn't loiter on the summer b/c it was so freakin' windy, we just wanted to get down. Rap down Los Lobos is quite exciting....i'm not a fan of hanging rap stations. For the first rap, don't forget to look LEFT for the anchors so you don't rap right on past them (and tie knots in the ends of yoru rope!!!!)

4 out of 5 stars El Potrero

Excellent route. Do yourself a favor even if your a 10a/b climber and take the 11a variation. It is doable but make sure you are slightly comfortable with finger crack climbing to the first knuckle. Very sweet/pumpy 5-6 move finger crack with a bolt then an exposed move out to a face flake. It made the entire route... Enjoy the summit!

Partner: Terry Andrews
Comments: Under an hour to summit, linked a lot of pitches, just don't remember which ones?
