5 out of 5 stars Fan-freakin-tastic

Great route. The whole time I was thinking how crazy Wilts must have been. Love the photo in the guide book of his wife following him in converse.
This would be a heady undertaking for a relatively new leader,,, steep and in your face for a 5.6.
The 5.9 slab above (direct finish) feels about the same grade as the 5.6 below; although, a bit more committing. SUPER fun pitch-- mantle/highsteps to the top with a clutch piton to save your sanity.

Climb this route.

4 out of 5 stars Left Ski Track

Awesome route with really odd features. Kind of heady in areas because it is so vertical, but it is still only 5.6 so the climbing stays easy and fun. All in all a great climb.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome Day, Classic Climb!

Cold weekend which made for a great day on this all-day sunny route. First time at Tahquitz we chose the perfect route. Great climbing that matches the grade well with plenty of exposure. It should be noted that there are a few areas spots on pitch 2 and 3 that the second is no better protected than the leader. Amazing fun...highly recomended. The south side walk-off is very class 3-4 and tricky to find. Best if you can get advise from a local party.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome Route!

This was my first route at Tahquitz. It was super fun, exposed and overall an awesome climb (I followed on it). The step around move on pitch 2 was kinda sketchy for me but I'd totally do it again! Definitely try this route out.

4 out of 5 stars Second Trad Climb

Very fun and sometimes scary climb. I led the 1st and 3rd pitches. Was very glad to find bolts at top of p1. Favorite/hardest moves: Left traverse to bolts (p1), Classic step around (p2), friction scramble above bolt (p3), walking p4.

5 out of 5 stars Birthday onsight solo

On my 47th b-day I did this onsight solo. Awesome jugs down low to VERY thought provoking moves higher up. The step around move is amazing and the move past the bolt is a little unerving for 5.6. All in all a supurb route.

5 out of 5 stars Onsight

Only climbed P1. Can double down off rap anchor with a 70m cord. Crux was the final move to the anchor and getting to the start of the crack. Very steep and fun for a 5.6!
