Ascent Notes for: Raging Waters - 5.11a Average Rating : 3.93/5

This is a great route with clean rock, fun moves, and good gear (up to 3"). RE: the grade, IMO the potential of decking and the difficulty of protecting the low crux make the 10d/11a grade about right. If you have the gear wired (or skip it) or are top roping, the route will probably feel easier. Don't miss the slopey ckickenheads and hard to find incuts of the upper face. Save a red Tricam for the top and don't ditch out right because you'll miss some of the best bits!

Tough start for short people. Once again sounds like they added anchors to the top for the sport-minded gear pluggers.
Great route, it kicked my butt.

Awesome climb, my friend loved it so much he did it twice. The grade is a little high I think.

New anchors at the top? Thats crap! Topping out is the best (and scariest) part. There's a good peice of gear before the top out in case you botch it, so why anchors? I can only see a good reason for anchors if someone was trying to protect the trees, and I hope they are at least at the top of the wall, not at the ledge.
