My wife isn't much of a climber, but decided multi-pitch would be a nice way to spend my BDay. It was a little warm, but the bugs weren't too bad and we had the entire rock to ourselves. I had never climbed the Trough. It is actually pretty nice. Easy climbing, but nice exposure and comfortable ledges. supposed to meet a friend at tahquitz. he never showed. i even took the ascelt to the crag. freakin ballbuster!! after getting up there and not finding him, i said f-this and had to climb something. turns out it was the trough... easy free solo!

Late afternoon solo. A little sketchy in some spots!! Didn't I say I wasn't going to solo anymore?!?!

First route on Tahquitz. I followed the whole thing. Wasn't leading yet. I wondered why it was taking them so long to lead the pitches when I could climb them in about five minutes.
