A very simple route. The bolts seemed solid, the holds were obvious; it is a great route for a beginner. At the time it was raining and sleeting on us, so we decided to get one more climb in before we head down. My hands were frozen, I couldn't feel my feet and my belayer had icicles forming on her; yet we made it to the top and had alot of fun. I great warm-up before heading to the more challenging routes in the canyon.

This was my first lead climb. I remembered the Red Slab being easy last year. Now that I was leading it, it seemed to have gotten harder although my skill level has improved. It didn't even seem like the same route. where did the foot holds go?

My first lead of this year. There was something of a little crux higher up, I believe between the 4th and 5th bolts.

It was a good season starter.
