Jack Knife is a fantastic first trad lead! It is a relatively easy climb with decent placements everywhere. This is where I taught my partner to trad lead.

When climbing the crux portion, facing to the right.

Careful don't drop small gears in the crack.

One of the two top bolts is loose. The hanger can spin.
