Description:

An all-time Platte granite classic. This 5-pitch route wanders up the central face. Pitch 1 begins in an easy crack just east of the face's low point. Belay atop the crack. Pitch 2 smears up and joins Topographic Oceans' 2nd pitch at the 1st bolt, follow past the 3rd bolt (5.9) before striking up to a belay (1 bolt) on the right side of the large arch. Pitch 3 turns the arch's right side with a few 5.9 moves and follows a ramp/crack system up and left to a belay above the arch. Pitch 4 frictions up the run-out slab (5.7) above toward an obvious small roof, keep right o fthe roof for 5.6 climbing or go left at 5.9. Either way, reach a 2-bolt belay stance on the ramp above. Pitch 5 continues up the ramp to a 5.8 O/W pitch on a steep headwall. Finish on the sloping summit slabs.
