Description:
This is the easiest route to the top of Gannett Peak, 13,805 feet above sea level. From a base camp just below the Dinwoody Glacier talus field it is a Grade II to III steep snow and possablie ice climb. The route is accessed via the Dinwoody Glacier and then the upper Gooseneck glacier to its headwall. Cross the Gooseneck Glacier Bergshund just north (climbers right) and below the Gooseneck Pinnacle and accend the Goosneck Courier to the top of the ridge line just north of the pinnacle. This is the most technical part of the route. If there is no snow bridge the grade is much higher. From this point it is moderate steep snow travel to the top of Gannett.

A good morning
Gannett's Gooseneck is so easy it's laughable, the hike into Dinwoody Circque was considerably more difficult. However, it is fun and the summit ridge offers amazing views of the Divide and the Tetons on a clear day.
