start same as The Crack, move left left onto a sloping ledge and then climb the face right of the GOlden Staircase.

5 out of 5 stars uh--definitley not a 5.3 the rest of the way up

after getting off the crack onto the face, it's a good technical foot and crimp climb, the crux is after the crack once one is between the easy scramble (which is a 5.3 or less) and the arete for golden staircase.
