Top rope, use the tree at the top for the anchor and the tree behind it for backup. I used 90+ ft of webbing (tied in loops) and felt I could have used more. If you don't know how to proporly build and anchor seek professional help.

Description:

Ascends the hueco face of Crosover, it really does look like cheese. start below the huecos 15ft right of the Dihedral Crack and work your way up. Crux is the first 15ft or so. I'm downgrading this to a 5.7 as my original 5.9 rating was way off. The start is about a 5.8 with the rest of the climb being easy .6 and .7 climbing.

Descent Options:

There is a trail to the bottom on the north side of the cliff.

3 out of 5 stars Thanks for the route, it was fun!

This is the best place I have been in the Canyon taller than 30 ft. The crux is about 10 ft off the ground. The ledges are covered in a layer of sand, and I'm not real sure how stable the huecos are up top, they sounded very hollow. There is a nice crack climb just to the south, we stopped at the ledge on it, but I intend to go back sometime and try the roof above the ledge.
