Ditched Vegas for a long weekend after finally handing in a draft of my thesis. Cannot tell you how wonderful it was to wake up at dawn at my sister's house, drive 5 minutes to the Flatirons, hike up and scramble this route solo. Gotta get out of Vegas, it's driving me crazy.

Fun climb. As the hangers have been removed at the retrobolted belay at the top of the second pitch, it is relatively easy to run pitches 2 and 3 together with a 60 m rope. The tunnel pitch is a blast and super easy, wasn't worried about the lack of gear at all.

Another one of these 5.7 Swain routes with a really awkward crux. After you pull that, you're cruisin'. And believe it or not, a single 50-m rope rap will get you down.

The closest climb to the parking lot at Eklutna. My partner and I often TR'd this climb during our first season. A couple mixed moves near the begining in most conditions . . . once through this crux it's pretty cruiser.
